Let’s get crafty! This July, have fun, have adventures, and have a blast. No matter what you like to do for fun, everybody loves to do some arts and crafts. Luckily, living at The Dorchester, there are so many local events that will teach you crafting abilities and skills.

First, the Make Your Own Air Plant Happy Hour on July 7th will be just what you need, no plant knowledge or artistic talent required! Your adventure will start at the Terrarium Bar. Where you will be given the choice of several terrarium glass vessels. There will also be a wide array of embellishments to choose between. Additionally, the available air plants will come in a variety of species and sizes. Taking place at Greenology Organic Living, Peddler’s Village 2449 Street Road Shop 23 A Peddler’s Village New Hope, PA 18938 where participants are welcome to come anytime between 5 pm – 7 pm.

Then, on July 12th, come out to the Printing with Plants event. Hosted at Cheltenham Center for the Arts, located at 439 Ashbourne Road Cheltenham, PA 19012, at 6 pm. In this workshop, everyone will be making monoprints with flowers. Artworks created during the workshop will be incorporated into Mapping Our Watershed, a mixed-media piece by local artist Rebecca Schultz.

Later, on July 27th, enjoy a night of learning a brand-new craft. Crochet Night for Beginners is exactly what it sounds like! Learn basic and beginner crocheting skills. It is encouraged to bring your supplies as there is a limited amount to share and lend out.
