This year, instead of spending your Halloween weekend trick-or-treating or hitting the bars with friends, spend it supporting your community. The Howl-O-Ween Fundraiser Pawty at 7 p.m. on Friday, October 27th is more than just a good excuse to dress up in your Halloween costume. It will help raise money for J & Co. Dog Rescue in New Jersey and Providence Animal Center in Media. Since these nonprofit organizations save animals from homelessness and care for critters with extra medical needs, you can rest assured that they are doing some good in the Philadelphia community

When you buy a ticket for the Howl-O-Ween Fundraiser Pawty ($20+ for kids and $40 for adults), your dollars will be going directly toward the care of these underserved critters. The evening will offer a fun, festive assortment of food, drinks, and music, plus raffles that could send you home with fun Halloween prizes. Since the "Pawty" is happening at Sprinkler Fitters Union Hall, about a 10-minute drive from Village Square, it'll be a quick trip home when things wind down at 11 p.m.
