It takes 3,000 pounds of potato salad to fuel the 4th of July weekend at DelGrosso's Park & Laguna Splash, proof that this is much more than an amusement park. People come from far and wide just for that signature potato salad, not to mention the other homemade eats, most of them inspired by the owners' Italian heritage. The cuisine is just one way that DelGrosso's outdoes other amusement parks.

Its lineup of attractions, including a sprawling water park renovated in 2016, is what really attracts crowds. On a hot day this summer, cool down in the newly revamped lazy river, AKA River Lazio. Inspired by the hometown of a DelGrosso family member, this lazy river features Italian accents like wine jugs that double as fountains. After you enjoy the water slides and wave pool, dry off on the carousel, the Scrambler, or the Tilt-A-Whirl in the main park. It all awaits just a short drive from Vairo Village.
