Who says you need to trek out to the countryside in order to find fresh, seasonal produce? Shortening the distance between Stone Gate Woods and farm-fresh fruits and veggies, the Phoenixville Farmers’ Market sets up every Saturday morning beneath the Gay Street Bridge in downtown Phoenixville!

Stop by between the hours of 10 a.m. and noon (9 a.m. to noon starting May 1) to browse the weekly offerings provided by a curated list of local vendors. A visit to the market might introduce you to raw milks and cheeses, pasture-raised meats, PA maple syrup, heirloom produce, freshly roasted coffee, just-baked breads, and artisan pastas and sauces. Rounding out the offerings, local makers are often on site to peddle their services and handmade wares, like knife sharpening and essential-oil-infused bath products.

Perhaps better still, the Phoenixville Farmers’ Market is situated just off the French Creek Trail, making it the perfect pit stop during a walk or bike ride.
