Around dusk on Monday, July 4, all eyes will turn upward as the sky above Downington's 45-acre Kerr Park is illuminated in a dazzling display of fireworks! The patriotic fireworks show is the culminating event of Downingtown Good Neighbor Day, an annual festival that benefits emergency responders within the Downingtown Area School District.

But before the fireworks show can conclude the day-long festival, event-goers will have a chance to chow down on carnival fare, browse the handmade goods of the 80-100 vendors in the craft marketplace, and defy gravity on any of the festival's carnival rides. Those with a competitive side can take park in duck races, canoe races, a wife-carrying competition, and a bicycle decorating contest. In fact, the day starts off on a competitive foot—literally! It begins with a 5K/10K/15K run!

Thinking about stopping by? Kerr Park is located just 7 miles from Audubon Manor!
