Since June, the public has been raving about the artistic genius of the Sculptures in Steel Exhibition, taking place at The Arboretum at Penn State. This truly one-of-a-kind exhibition was dreamed up and executed by Robert Anderson, an artist from Wisconsin, who before this exhibit helped to create the magical green kaleidoscope that so many adore in the arboretum's Children’s Garden. His inspiration for "Sculptures in Steel" was drawn from Japanese origami, so each piece you see has some ode to this delicate ancient art form.

To get a deeper look at the installations, take a free tour offered at 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. daily. If you want to just meander through the gardens yourself, feel free, as they they are open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. There are a only a couple weeks left of "Sculptures in Steel," so don't miss it (it ends Oct. 23)!
