June 5, 2017 – Work/life balance is not a goal, it is a strategy. Leaders come up with strategies for marketing, revenue growth, customer service, etc, but ignore the importance of coming up with a strategy for providing a balance for the team. Everyone knows the importance of having engagement between customers and employees but requiring more hours behind the desk doesn’t increase the engagement. Treating people respectfully on and off the clock increases engagement which increases the bottom line.
