Decades’ sprawling 15,000-square-foot space provides a few clues about its former life, including soaring ceilings with exposed iron beams and almost impossible glossy wooden floors. For nine decades, the building served as a gymnasium. In March, it reopened as a boutique bowling alley, a contemporary arcade, and an upscale restaurant/bar.

Just a short drive from Creekside North Apartments, Decades brings back the nostalgia of times gone by. Round up a group of friends (up to five) and head to Decades to claim one of its six glossy bowling lanes, which you can rent out for $36 an hour. If you can’t grab a lane, head to the arcade to play Donkey Kong, skeeball, or one of the other vintage games. They’re operated by tokens, which cost 25 cents each. You can also grab a craft cocktail, a craft beer, or a Southern bite in the restaurant section of Decades.
